After main contractor City Square won the project, we were called to tender, to provide an acoustical solution to meet Building Regulation. As part of this 2,115m2 luxury conversion, the Soundis Dry ScreedPanel 18 was selected. to do the job. Post tender of the Supply of the project, Our team were thrilled to add this Historic establishment to our ever-growing portfolio.
The Soundis Dry ScreedPanel 18 was selected due to its high thermal conductivity allowing for the use of the proposed underfloor heating systems throughout the flats, but also for its main purpose of Meeting Regulations, where it’s incorporated Wood Fibre Resilient Layer effectively reduces impact sound transmission from footfall. Traditionally Dry Screeds have been referred to as having a long painful process, however, our Dry ScreedPanel 18 is the opposite; foot traffic can be taken immediately once the glue has hardened.
